I support efforts to end the suffering in Israel and Palestine. I hope that you will be listened to.
If the U.S.A. would begin a policy of Loving and Giving vs. Fighting and Taking, we will see Peace Globally to include the Middle East.

You know there really is still a chance for peace and that chance will definitely increase if we each do our piece. So let’s make peace -- in our homes, in our own hearts, in our relationships, in our communities, in all of our dealings and in the world. Peace be with us all.
Stands for PEACE
We owe it to our grandchildren, to our children, to our parents, to our friends, neighbours and ourselves to act for peace. And the first step for peace is to communicate, have contact with the other.
May God continue to bless all of you who work on this planet in the name of peace. Our hearts and prayers are with you in your endeavors always!

I wish Israeli and Palestinian leaders opened up their hearts for love and peace in this land which -although it seems completely impossible- should and could be the actual source of peace.
Thanks for all the work that has been done and best wishes for the future. Here's hoping you can get everyone back to their roots and back to the ground.
Free the soil, free the people.
Those who stand in the way of peace and empowerment of the residents of Gaza and East Jerusalem deserve to be exposed and embarrassed. We must stop sowing the seeds of future conflict now.
Peace comes when the separate communities work together for the common good. In the case of Israel/palestine, the focus should be on water. http://bit.ly/95zTCa
The time for terror is long past... we now need to support each other by building trust and understanding between all nations so that our children and grandchildren may grow in harmony for a peace
You elders are showing us how to build a better world community. Please keep working as a force for compassionate listening and taking a stand for what's right. Thank you.

It is time we put aside our differences and reached out to our brothers and sisters in every Nation across the World and worked together for lasting peace.
I pray for the little children of Gaza. I know many of them have lost their homes and family members in the recent conflict. I pray that The Elders can help bring about peace to their troubled land.
The conflict in the Middle East has been going on for far to long; and far too many lives ruined or lost; For God's sake it must stop now.

The U.S. should not wait two years. It should recognize Palestine de facto NOW.

We are all members of one large diverse family called Humanity, and by putting your brother's needs before your own you will assure justice and peace in the middle east.
I sincerely hope and wish that, under the kind and wise guidance of the Elders, common Israelis and Palestinians will make friends and say no to hate-instigators and extremists on both sides!
Both sides, Israelis and Palestinians deserve to live in peace and recognize each other existence. Israelis to give back the 1967 occupied lands and Palestinians to acknowledge the state of Israel.
Militarizing development, research and science and maintaining an arms economy for geopolitical, corporate and private gain has clearly become an unsustainable concept.

Peace a path, violence, a direction, peace is illusional, it's preferred over violence, which is delusional; peacing pays only much less than warring- no profit, pleasure in destruction or murder :)

Lutherans in the Holy Land and in the US are working tirelessly for peace for Israelis and Palestinians. This is a calling for all Christians to work energetically for peace and reconciliation.
Grief can interrupt the abiity to build peaceful relationships. It can even obstruct the ability to see that possibility. Healing grief, then, is an integral part of the peacemaking process.
Thank you Hanar Shaat for the wonderful article you published here on October 18, 2010. You have the vision.
Peace takes so much more courage than war. Understanding takes so much more work than intolerance. Getting started is harder than doing something. Be brave enough to be different.
Gandhi said "Be the change you wish to see in the world". The Elders are leading the way. Let us follow.
We obtained peace in Northern Ireland through dialogue. I pray that one day a lasting and sustainable solution can be obtained in the Middle East through similar, peaceful dialogue.
The only way to eliminate your enemy is to make them friends.
Women are the key to building peace. Women's participation and representation is an integral part of any peace process. Women will bring constructive, creative and sustainable solutions to the table.
