Men and women are both incredibly important to bring peace to the middle east. It takes both of us to make the world go around and we are falling down on the job. We must work together!
Violence and rhetoric is blindly directed to an opposing zone. Retaliation seems to reap more intense and cheaper cognitive rewards than investing effort in addressing the systemic sources of conflict.
Peace will only come about if ordinary Israelis and Palestinians do something they might not typically do: reach out to the other, the stranger, interact and find common ground.

I wish Israeli and Palestinian leaders opened up their hearts for love and peace in this land which -although it seems completely impossible- should and could be the actual source of peace.
Peace and Goodwill are always within reach but genuine reconciliation requires some letting go on both sides. I pray this opening of hearts will happen this year.
