The European Union can help revitalise the peace process, say Jimmy Carter and Mary Robinson in Dublin

Following meetings with Irish leaders, European diplomats and civil society organisations, The Elders urge the EU to help safeguard the two-state solution by introducing labelling guidelines for Israeli settlement goods.

Following months of post-election violence in Côte d'Ivoire, Kofi Annan, Mary Robinson and Desmond Tutu meet President Alassane Ouattara and former president Laurent Gbagbo, as well as civil society organisations and internally displaced persons in the country. The Elders urge the new government to ensure that the national reconciliation process is independent, inclusive and not rushed.

The Elders, currently in Jerusalem, meet Rabbi Ovadia Yosef and a group of young Israelis. Delegation leader Fernando H Cardoso offers the group's encouragement to all those working for peace.

Lakhdar Brahimi, Jimmy Carter and Desmond Tutu report their findings after visiting Cyprus, where Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot leaders have recently begun direct, open-ended negotiations to try to reunify the divided island.
