Join us online as Desmond Tutu, Mary Robinson and Gro Brundtland debate two young activists, Esther and Marvin, live in Oslo (Norway) today Wednesday 9 May at 2.30pm BST, 3.30pm CET, 9.30am EST

Which future for our planet – and what can our leaders do about it? What kind of world do we want for our great-great-grandchildren? And how do we get there? People, profit and the environment - can we balance them, or do we have to make a choice?

The Elders+Youngers will be exploring fresh ideas for the future of our planet, and tackling some of the biggest questions facing our world today, as world leaders gear up for the major UN Conference on Sustainable Development in Rio this June.

Watch live online

The debate will be livestreamed on the website of the Norwegian Environment ministry. You can watch it at: http://www.regjeringen.no/theElders
