Share this:

As world leaders gather in Brazil for Rio+20, the Elders and Youngers answer your questions on sustainable development, the world we want and how we can achieve it. Watch the Q&A videos of Fernando Henrique Cardoso, Mary Robinson and Gro Harlem Brundtland with the Youngers.

Can our leaders deliver an agreement at Rio+20? What role should emerging economies like Brazil be playing in the negotiations? Do the Elders and Youngers – change-makers from two different generations – agree on the action we need to see?

In three Q&A sessions, the Elders+Youngers teamed up to answer your questions on Rio+20.

On Monday, we put your questions to former Brazilian President Fernando Henrique Cardoso and young activist Pedro Telles and filmed their responses:

On Tuesday, it was the turn of Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland and former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and activists Sara Svensson and Marvin Nala.

And in the final Q&A, Gro Harlem Brundtland and Esther Agbarakwe gave their responses.
